Accessibility statement

How we make the smarthotspots website easier to use and how to tell us about a problem.

Last reviewed: September 2026

Our accessibility commitment

smarthotspots wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, voice control, magnification or reduced-motion settings. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

The website has been designed to support:

  • keyboard navigation and clearly visible keyboard focus;
  • a skip link for moving directly to the main content;
  • semantic headings, landmarks and descriptive page titles;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • content resizing and responsive layouts;
  • reduced motion when that preference is enabled on a device; and
  • controls for pausing automatically changing illustrative content.

Third-party content

The optional speed test is supplied by Speedtest by Ookla, LLC and is loaded only after a visitor chooses to start it. Because that service is controlled by a third party, some aspects of its accessibility may be outside our direct control. A link to open the service on its own website is also provided.
