Designed around operational requirements

Business Fibre Broadband, 5G backup and automatic internet failover designed and managed for organisations across Ireland.

01

Two connections, one managed service

A resilient connection starts with understanding which applications must remain available and how much capacity they require. We can combine primary Fibre Broadband with 5G Business Broadband or another appropriate secondary service, then configure the gateway to test connection health and move traffic when the primary circuit becomes unavailable.

02

Failover designed around the business

Backup connectivity is not simply an extra router. The design must account for mobile coverage, addressing, VPNs, payment services, voice, cloud applications and the bandwidth available during an outage. We test the intended failover path and document what the site should expect when it is active.

03

Visibility after installation

We monitor the internet links and gateway as part of the wider network. That provides context when performance changes and helps distinguish an ISP issue from local equipment, power or a connected application. Our team coordinates investigation through one support route.

Common questions

What organisations ask us.

Does 5G take over automatically?

Where automatic failover is configured, the gateway monitors connection health and moves eligible traffic to the secondary service when the primary connection fails. The precise behaviour depends on the agreed design and available providers.

Can existing Fibre Broadband be retained?

Often, yes. We can assess the existing circuit, router and addressing requirements before recommending whether to retain the service and add a managed backup connection.

Will every application work over the backup link?

That depends on bandwidth, IP addressing, VPN and provider requirements. We identify business-critical applications during design and test the services that need to remain available.
