Designed around operational requirements

Managed pub and bar WiFi in Ireland, designed for reliable guest access, secure EPOS and staff networks, venue-wide coverage and ongoing support.

01

Pub WiFi that works through the busiest service

A pub network may need to support guest WiFi at the same time as card terminals, EPOS, staff handhelds, CCTV, music and business devices. We design the network around those real demands so guest access is kept separate from operational systems and essential services have the connectivity they need during busy periods.

02

Coverage designed for the shape of your venue

A long bar, several floors, thick walls, a lounge or an outdoor seating area can all affect wireless coverage. We assess the building and how it is used, then plan access point positions and capacity for the areas that matter. Where coverage is required in a beer garden or other outdoor space, we include it in the survey and design.

03

Keep guest and business traffic appropriately separated

Guest WiFi should not share an unrestricted network with payments, EPOS, staff devices or CCTV. We configure suitable network separation and access controls for the equipment and services at your premises, helping protect business systems while giving customers a straightforward way to get online.

04

A managed service beyond installation

We can review an existing network or design and install a new one, then continue monitoring the gateways, switches, access points and internet connection. Where the site needs greater resilience, a suitable secondary broadband or 5G connection can be assessed as part of the design.

Common questions

What organisations ask us.

Can guest WiFi be separated from EPOS and card payments?

Yes. Guest access can be placed on a separate network from EPOS, payment terminals, staff devices and other operational systems. The right rules depend on how each service at the venue needs to communicate.

Can you improve WiFi in an existing pub?

Yes. We can review the current network and survey the venue to identify whether coverage, interference, capacity or equipment placement is contributing to the problem. We can then recommend what to retain, adjust or replace.

Can WiFi cover a beer garden or outdoor seating area?

Yes, where required. Outdoor coverage depends on the layout, distance, building materials and available cabling, so we include the area in the survey and design before recommending suitable access points.

Do you provide ongoing monitoring and support?

Yes. Managed networks are monitored as a live business service, with ongoing support and fault investigation. The scope is agreed around the venue and its operating requirements.
